Matcha originated in China, dating back to the Song Dynasty and its birthplace is Linan of Hangzhou. Hangzhou is also the distribution center of Japanese tea today. Efoofan exports organic tea to Japan both matcha powder and other japanese teas like Sencha, Gyokuro etc.
Efoofan ceremonial grade matcha green tea is organically farmed at the foot of the Tianmu Mountain where is located in an undeveloped natural valley, about 600m above sea level and widely distributes nearly 200 acres tea plantation.
Tian Mu Mountain, a national nature reserve, UNESCO man and biosphere reserve (MAB), it always is year-round fog, humid climate and lush forests which is very suitable for tea growing.
Tea production in Linan has a history of more than 1,200 years. Tea has been recorded as early as the Dongjin Dynasty, and it was great reputed in the Tang Dynasty. The tea saint Lu Yu compiled Tianmu tea into the “Tea Classic”.
Efoofan organic matcha ceremonial grade is grounded as finest tea leaves and contains high content of amino acid and L-Theanine, and low caffeines. It owns vivid green color. The te matcha organic can be brewed with cold and warm water into latte, smoothie, or pure drinks for consumption.

Pleasantly pleased with the beautiful color, delicate flavor and sweet fragrance. I’m on my second batch. I tried 3 brands prior and this is my favorite.
Update: Just reordered more of this lovely tea. I wasn’t sure if I’d reviewed it already. “Beautiful” was the same word in my head when I thought of it!

Matcha Latte
The individual packets are the perfect small portion for one cup. I make mine into a sweet latte with oak milk and a teaspoon of honey. The matcha has so much flavor too.

Net wt on the cover pic is 10oz, but it’s only 1oz. There is no option to choose 10oz, only 1 or 3. The brand is also different
