Above average
This product isn’t bad, but there is a reason it is so inexpensive. It isn’t up to the same quality of some of the bigger brands.

Great option for green tea
This is awesome to have if you love matcha. I mix this in with warm milk to make a matcha latte. But you can also use as pure matcha green tea by just using water. A little on the bitter side but just add in your choice of sweets and you’re golden. I love using powders for baking also so it’s a good option for a variety of baked goods like cookies, muffins, and even cake.

Great value!
Great value amount of matcha for the money! Tastes just like the expensive matcha I’ve tried. The resealable bag is great, I store it in the fridge to maintain freshness. Five stars!

Blend and mix well, powerful taste!!
Very strong and potent Matcha powder a little definitely goes along way. You get so much product for such an affordable price.

Bought it for matcha lattes
It does say on the bag that you can use it for matcha lattes, but it isn’t very good for that purpose. I would opt for ceremonial grade if you’re doing lattes. The taste of this culinary grade is noticeably different, it’s bitter and not as full of the tea flavor. To be fair, I think this is typical of culinary matcha, but for anyone curious and looking to save a few dollars, I’d still recommend buying ceremonial grade for your latte instead of saving money and getting culinary grade. However, I haven’t used this product for baking, it might be really good for that or other purposes.

Not so much for drinking tea, but great for baking and as a natural coloring
Worked perfectly in matcha shortbread and some matcha cupcakes. Lovely flavor and color. This does state that it’s culinary grade (ceremonial grade is what your normally drink), so as long as you’re using it for baking, or as stated, in lattes where there is added milk/flavorings, this will work great.

Finely ground matcha
This is a finely ground matcha which makes it very easy to mix. It can be on the bitter side, but that’s what you get with pure ground leaf. If you plan to drink it straight, the key is to adjust the amount of powder to your taste. We use a little less than a teaspoon and it tastes great to us. We don’t make lattes or any of the fancy drinks with sweetener, we just drink straight tea.
We like the bulk packaging and think its a good value for the quality of the matcha.

Not Bad For Culinary Grade
As it is culinary grade it is naturally more more suited for baking than drinking unless for lattes which I love. I make some matcha lattes at home and decided to just follow the instructions on the back, but I think it recommends way too much matcha, so just be careful and go way less. It is pretty strong and bitter.

Strong matcha flavor, soft taste
I am happy about this matcha powder. This brand’s matcha green tea powder has very strong matcha flavor but when you drink it it’s super smooth and very enjoyable. I make matcha latte every morning now and I absolutely love this matcha powder!

Good Quality Matcha
So I didnt know how good or bad the quality of this batch would be but I wanted to try it as I like Matcha and I know its good for my stomach. So I decided to give it a try. I was very impressed with the taste of this Match which I made. It was very good quality. I would recommend it!

Very Nice
This makes a decent matcha latte. The culinary grade matcha is a little bit bitter for a matcha latte, but can be easily off-set by using a little more sugar.
This does a great job at a decent price point.

Delicious
It tastes great. I only wish it was bigger!

Pretty good
These are good enough for the average tea drinker. For the quantity you are getting, this is pretty cheap. However, because I’ve had higher quality matcha made in Japan before, I can’t help but notice that the matcha powder is a bit oxidized and doesn’t exactly have that “freshness” you’d get from higher quality matcha. Overall, this is still good.

Matcha tea powder
I like how this tea powder mixes quite easily. It has a nice aroma, kind of like seaweed. It tastes good and not bitter at all. I do not have much experience with Matcha tea however this tastes good. I generally drink my tea straight with no additives which is how I did the Matcha.
Overall this is a decent tea.

Good enough for mixed drinks but don’t make it the star.
This review is for “EFOOFAN Matcha green tea powder”. This Chinese matcha powder comes in a pretty hefty bag and should be good for plenty of recipes. I’m not a huge fan of the flavor if I’m trying to use it for a latte but it’s nice when used as a hint in a smoothie instead. It’s a bit too bitter for me to enjoy a decent quantity of this in my drinks. I’ve had many better matcha powders but those were much more expensive by weight. So if you like just a little matcha flavor or like a more bitter drink in general, this would be good. I may also have to try this in a frosting as I wouldn’t need too much and it would cover up the graininess and give a bit of color.
