Matcha originated in China, dating back to the Song Dynasty and its birthplace is Linan of Hangzhou. Hangzhou is also the distribution center of Japanese tea today. Efoofan exports organic tea to Japan both matcha powder and other japanese teas like Sencha, Gyokuro etc.
Efoofan ceremonial grade matcha green tea is organically farmed at the foot of the Tianmu Mountain where is located in an undeveloped natural valley, about 600m above sea level and widely distributes nearly 200 acres tea plantation.
Tian Mu Mountain, a national nature reserve, UNESCO man and biosphere reserve (MAB), it always is year-round fog, humid climate and lush forests which is very suitable for tea growing.
Tea production in Linan has a history of more than 1,200 years. Tea has been recorded as early as the Dongjin Dynasty, and it was great reputed in the Tang Dynasty. The tea saint Lu Yu compiled Tianmu tea into the “Tea Classic”.

Typically, ceremonial grade matcha is used for drinks – but using them for baked goods (instead of culinary grade matcha) means even better flavor and vibrant colors! Absolutely loved this matcha brand, made the most moist and soft matcha cookies with this premium matcha. The flavor was spot on, not too bitter and not too sweet. Highly recommend giving this a try – especially for 100grams (which will actually last quite a while, since you only need ~1tsp per drink), the price is very reasonable.

Luv this !!! I have this in the morning now , instead of coffee. Tastes great iced or hot . Much easier on my tummy and digestion. I put organic milk in mine. Also great with Aloe Vera juice and milk or hemp beverage. No caffeine spike. Endless recipe possibilities… I ordered a larger size this time.

The “fish collagen” part of this matcha concerned me at first, but you can’t taste anything other than the matcha. The powder is smooth, fine, and a beautiful dark green color. It’s not the highest grade matcha I’ve ever had because it is slightly bitter and a little less sweet than the best, but it is still potent and enjoyable. It’s easy to pour from the sachets, though the sachets themselves are a little difficult to open. I cut them open with scissors because I couldn’t tear them. In terms of value, this is on par with most matcha and is very convenient and portioned such that you don’t waste any.

Impressive! It’s good to have a matcha you can trust. I love how there is the traditional one and a sweetness one I can use for baking and frappes! The taste is great and the tea comes with a lot of good information. I live in the Japan and this is my favorite matcha.

This matcha powder is delicious. It blended really well and seemed to be more potent that precious powders I’ve tried. 1/2 of a tsp was enough to give me the taste and consistency I was looking for. I mixed that into a quarter of a cup of hot water and added some cashew milk . Delicious!

Matcha has been the popular thing so I wanted to try it out and this brand was fantastic
I saw all these fancy Matcha coffee drinks at the Dunkin, Starbucks, etc being advertised. I was hesitant about spending 5 bucks a drink. So I did some research on making at home and then did research on amazon and found this. It wasn’t too cheap, but wasn’t too expensive and the reviews were decent. I got this, and started to make my owned iced matcha. I used this, with some agave and vanilla and it comes out great. I would recommend it, and you can save lots of money making this at home. I haven’t drank it hot, but as an Iced drink, I like!

I’ve never had match at home, but since this quarantine, I have basically became my own barista. I purchased this actually to make that matcha dalgona drink (which was a success!) but I’ve also just drink it with coconut milk in ice & some agave. It’s delicious! The flavor is not too strong, but the aroma is great. You do not have to put a lot in your drink (unless you like it). Highly recommend.

It’s good. Sometimes I’m lazy to drive to Starbucks for a matcha green tea so I make it myself at home. And it gives me energy. Love this would buy again.
