Matcha originated in China, dating back to the Song Dynasty and its birthplace is Linan of Hangzhou. Hangzhou is also the distribution center of Japanese tea today. Efoofan exports organic tea to Japan both matcha powder and other japanese teas like Sencha, Gyokuro etc.
Efoofan ceremonial grade matcha green tea is organically farmed at the foot of the Tianmu Mountain where is located in an undeveloped natural valley, about 600m above sea level and widely distributes nearly 200 acres tea plantation.
Tian Mu Mountain, a national nature reserve, UNESCO man and biosphere reserve (MAB), it always is year-round fog, humid climate and lush forests which is very suitable for tea growing.
Tea production in Linan has a history of more than 1,200 years. Tea has been recorded as early as the Dongjin Dynasty, and it was great reputed in the Tang Dynasty. The tea saint Lu Yu compiled Tianmu tea into the “Tea Classic”.
Efoofan organic matcha ceremonial grade is grounded as finest tea leaves and contains high content of amino acid and L-Theanine, and low caffeines. It owns vivid green color. The te matcha organic can be brewed with cold and warm water into latte, smoothie, or pure drinks for consumption.

Nice flavor and Convenient for sure. A little does go a long way. Don’t make the mistake of adding a big spoon full in your water or milk, just add a little amount. Can honestly say that my mood and energy has improved since I been drinking Green tea/Matcha almost everyday. I also bought some for a few co-workers who are trying to replace sodas with a healthier choice . Green tea is labeled a super food, so it would make sense that something good is happening in the body.

I have been using this for a while on my face…i can see a difference in my skin. it feels and looks better…only thing is this is drying, so i have to add coconut or extra virgin olive oil to the mixture…works great

I’m no expert, but this is delicious matcha! I got the ceremonial variety, and it is worth it. I’ve had lots of green teas, and this item represents an excellent value in my opinion.
This tea is not very stimulating, which is good as I don’t want a ton of caffeine.

It’s delish, but …the amount you get…*deepest eye roll. Bag is pretty tiny. Similar to a bag of chips-just full of air at the top.

I ordered the Seein organic matcha green tea powder with fish collagen for my mom and she liked it. She usually stays away from collagen powders because of the disagreeable smell and taste. Here’s what she wrote:
“It doesn’t smell fish! As a matter of fact, it doesn’t have any disgusting smell, and that is important to me. When I mixed it with hot water, the green color came out beautiful. When I took a sip, it left me with a slightly bitter taste, which I didn’t mind. Since I am a coffee drinker, a little bitter taste didn’t bother me at all. It’s just far much better than regular chicken-feet smell collagens. When I mixed it with fruit, matcha, and vegetable powder smoothie, I couldn’t even tell it was mixed. More importantly, it seems to tighten up pores on my face. Five stars.”
