Great Product!
This matcha powder arrived intact and tastes great.
I have an autoimmune disease and eat a AIP diet, so I mix it with coconut milk and a bit of honey for hot matcha tea. I’m quite sure it would be great iced as well.
I recommend!

Taste is sub par, not recommended
Update: still drinking it. It’s better than the worst matcha we’ve had.
We have been drinking matcha for 5 years and we only buy mighty leaf due to the flavor and caffeine levels. So, on a whim, I bought this to try it out and you get what you pay for… disappointment.
We do matcha lemonades and this needs extra lemonade because it tastes bad. Mighty leaf doesn’t need more than our usual dosage of lemonade mixture.
I have compared them side by side and mighty leaf is brighter green and made it Japan.
If you’re getting matcha, find something made it Japan and not china. This will be a backup or just go in the trash. Not worth the money or savings. Mighty leaf still cheaper than getting Starbucks every morning!

Love this matcha!
Deep green in color, dissolves completely with my frother, tastes great (not bitter). I’ve tried many different varieties of matcha green tea, and this is my fave!

Lovely matcha
This matcha is great! It tastes good, it’s thick and creamy and it foams very well. I’m not a matcha expert but this definitely delicious. I’ll be using the rest of this matcha bag for sure!

Great for shakes!
Taste is really good . I mix in smoothies in the morning. Better than a cup of coffee. I must admit coffee is my weakness! The energy I have compared to coffee I don’t crash.I need a perk me up and this is my go to now!

Dissolves well and tastes great!
This Macha is an excellent flavor and dissolves easily into liquid. I prefer with sweetener, but my husband is fine without. Whether making a hot cup of tea, a blended smoothie, or included in some type of desert, this Macha is an excellent product!

Great matcha!
Wonderfully flavorful matcha powder that is great for making tea or adding to smoothies, shakes, ice cream, etc. The powder is a very nice consistency that blends well and smoothly. The flavor is very fresh. I absolutely have enjoyed this matcha!

Perfect!
I bought this to make matcha mochi which turned out okay. Now I just use it for tea or lattes and it tastes fantastic. There’s so much powder too, I use it every other day for a drink and still have almost a full bag.

Its stronger
Its stronger than the lighter smoother matcha that I’m used to, and it definitely has quite a kick on the caffeine end. I recommend it for day time use. It may be perfect when diluted . . . 1/4 to 1/3 teaspoon per cup

Good, but not my favorite
I typically have cold matcha, just with water. Sometimes I add vitamins to it. This time I did a cold water test vs my -for now- favorite ceremonial grade matcha.
Color 6 / 10. This one is a bit paler, but in power form and in solution. If you like the vibrant green on your drink, this might not be the best option.
Powder texture 9 / 10. It is fine, dissolves well, doesn’t form chunks
Flavor 6/10. I am not a tea sommelier, but I’ll try to put it into words. It is OK, a bit more “in your face” than my favorite ceremonial grade matcha, which is more subtle and complex and less bright leafy flavored. This one has a taste profile immediately resembles tea leaf, slightly overwhelming.
Overall is good, but I don’t think I would order it again.
3 stars felt too low, 4 stars is a bit generous, call it 3.6

something different
Trying something new… not horrible, but definitely learning to flavor in some way.

A grassy taste
It is a very green drink and I’ve been taking it so far every day almost in the mornings. The taste is very plain as there is no other additives or sugars in there. It is very easy to make and I have been taking it to boost my focus in the day. I do wish that this could have had better instructions of how much to take in one cup but I just assume that it was one teaspoon and have been fine with it that way. Overall I like it for a boost of antioxidants in my routine.

Works for Lattes
I use the matcha powder to make matcha lattes. I like my matcha strong without sugar or any sweetener. Because I typically don’t add any sugar, I can tell the difference between different brands of matcha. This one has more of a bitter flavor, which is to be expected as it is culinary grade. This does not stop me from making my matcha lattes, but if you want a smoother tasting latte, get the ceremonial grade. This also does not blend as well as ceremonial grade. When making match it is recommend to whisk it with hot water and then add it to a cup of iced milk/water. I just use a blender to blend the milk and matcha, and compared to other brands, this does not blend as well. Again, this was expected and it blended enough for me to continue making my matcha lattes. I have yet to bake with this, but based on the taste, I expect it to be perfect for baking as it has a strong flavor!
