Matcha
Got this for making tea and smoothies. A little goes a long way. Works great for me.

Great for It’s price
Not as green as shown on the packaging, but that was expected considering the price. I use about a teaspoon of this everyday in my oatmeal with honey and it tastes great.

Blends smoothly and tastes great!
This matcha powder does not have a bitter taste like the others on the market. It also comes in a big bag so it’ll last me some time. I’ve been drinking this matcha for the past few weeks as an alternative to coffee. I’m so happy that I purchased it!

interactive customer service; Horrible taste even with 10grams of added sugar
Changed from 1 star to 2 stars due to the fact the seller messaged me to try and resolve the issue. I’ve added a star for their effort in that, but they are bribing bad reviews with full refunds only if you change your review.
original review: We moved to this one since our typical was on backorder and this was highly rated…but not sure how. maybe the gram/oz to money ratio.
Regardless, we tried this multiple times to make a matcha latte using our typical recipe and water/milk ratios, and it wasn’t palatable. We tried altering the ratio by adding in sugar, honey, etc to cut the bitterness and it wasn’t possible.
Really unfortunate that this isn’t refundable.

New Favorite ♡
I’m very picky when it comes to matcha powders out there, but this one was the only matcha powder that remotely resembled the taste of my local Boba Tea shop’s matcha tea.
This has saved me a lot of money over going to the local tea shop or Starbucks.
I now make my own matcha tea at home with this powder. It blends perfectly and it’s smooth in every drink I make (I do use an elect whisker, though).
I bought the 16oz bag so there is plenty for me. I haven’t run out yet and I’ve had it for a couple of months. I’ll definitely be purchasing this again when I run out, for sure.

Nice Price
This matcha has a great price, however for smoothies or lattes it is a bit chalky and bitter. I found I had to use about 2/3 of a scoop instead of a heaping one, and a tad more honey to eliminate the slight bitterness. I then added a level teaspoon of organic virgin coconut oil which adds a bit of sweetness and really helps to smooth out the slight chalkiness to make a decent matcha latte. The bonus with the last step is I just visited the VA lab visit and the coconut oil really lowered my bad cholesterol and raised my good cholesterol into the beneficial range. It’s not as strongly caffeinated so I then follow with a jasmine, white tea, or Irish breakfast to add the pep to my step. This matcha works well for cooking, and marinades. Try a matcha lime zest cilantro chimichuri and marinade steaks overnight, and see if doesn’t hit the spot.

Good for baking but a little bitter for drinks
I drink a lot of matcha lattes (some coffee shop and some homemade), and I love the taste of matcha powder, but this one is pretty bitter – especially aftertaste. I typically use another brand, but I thought I’d try this one for the price. It’s not bad, just not as mild as some of the others I often use that are a little more expensive. This matcha would be better for baking than drinking I think.

Delicious but…
I wanted matcha for ‘blendable’ cold/hot. This is only for boiling, & making hot tea, not ideal for quick assembly to enjoy if you enjoy hot & cold & on the move, BUT delicious.

Mixes better that most culinary grade matcha
I’ll admit it. I’m a matcha fan, but sometimes I just don’t want to pay for the pricey stuff. This brand hits the mark for being inexpensive and drinkable.

Energy
So the best way I’ve found to take this is in yogurt. I have no issue with swallowing pills or medicine. This stuff doesn’t taste good to me but it isn’t horrible. It really gives me energy. I believe there is a difference in using fresh green macha vs pills or macha tea. If you are familiar with cilantro if you dry that it looses ALL it’s flavor. I think this works the same way. The instructions say to store in fridge

Package came in torn
The green tea came in a delivery bag, when I opened it up there was powder everywhere inside. I examined the bag itself to see if there was some sort of tear and I found it on the back side, maybe a half an inch. It’s good quality green tea at a very good price, though it was just a delivery issue I’m sure. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the slight tear.
