Good product and worth a try
I used this to make a matcha cake. I have to say flavor wise it is not that strong so you have to use a little extra, but overall it is a decent matcha powder. I would say give it a try!

Refreshing any time of the day
I love this tea. It is refreshing, it has a crisp taste with a clean after flavor. I like drinking it both cold and hot.
I feel more balanced after a nice glass of tea. Usually I like a piece or two of candy at night, drinking the tea in the evening takes the craving away, which is better for my waistline.
I have told the caregivers I work with to start drinking it for extra boost of energy .

It’s a legitimate product
It’s very hard to blend but I feel like I can’t really review it because I don’t think I’m making it right. I like matcha lattes from coffee shops, I just have no success with homemade matcha lattes.

Matcha comes in at least 3 different grades – culinary, latte and ceremonial. If you want to drink matcha as tea, you definitely need to spring for the more expensive ceremonial grade. If you’re making muffins or ice cream, this powder is absolutely perfect. This is definitely a “to taste” ingredient because the flavoring isn’t exactly a standard thing.

Cost Effective Iced Matcha Tea Lattes
It costs $5 for a grande iced matcha tea latte at starbucks, which includes 1.5 tsp of sweeted matcha powder and milk. I bought this powder, once I realized how good this was, and what an expensive habit I could potentially form going to starbucks a couple of times a week. So, I started researching powders to buy, and came across this brand. I add in my sweetener, a coupl of scopes of powder, and milk, and make my own “iced matcha tea latte” for a fraction of the cost. The taste is the same as from starbucks. The only difference is the color is not a intense as that from starbucks, which actually could be a good thing (less color additives posisbly).

Made matcha wedding cake
I use this in a recipe to make a matcha wedding cake. I don’t like matcha. But I guess buttercream icing can cure just about anything and the cake was delicious. I liked that it wasn’t an unnatural green color.

I never thought I would drink something green!
On a whim I ordered a lavender matcha oat milk drink at that big expensive coffee shop and I loved it, but not the nearly $9 price. Of course Amazon to the rescue! I understand there is a huge range of uses, quality and prices of matcha.
I searched and searched thru the matcha listings, looking for something with a reasonable price for the quantity you get but yet a decent quality for what I wanted to do.
This matcha powder wasn’t the cheapest and the reviews varied, I am guessing depending on what you are intending to do with it could have a lot to do with that. The matcha powder I received is a bright green and very smooth like chalk powder. It covered my hands from reaching in the bag so I put some in a smaller container to make it easier to scoop out. Using a basic $10 frother I was able to mix 2 scoops matcha with 8oz oat milk and the matcha completely mixed with no graininess, it worked similar to shake it. I added my own lavender cold foam and ended up with a perfect drink that tastes just like the one I spent $9 for. I did not have any bitterness or odd aftertaste. I imagine this package will last a really long time only using 2 scoops per drink but I will not hesitate to purchase this brand again for this specific use.
