Longjing tea, sometimes called by its literal translated name Dragon Well tea, is a variety of pan-fried green tea from Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province, China. Longjing loose leaf tea is produced mostly by hand according to traditional making process. Therefore, the long jing green tea has renowned for its high quality and earned the title of Top ten famous teas in China. Dragon well green tea was granted the status of Gong Cha, or Imperial tea, in Qing Dynasty by Chinese emperor Qianlong.

not bad – worth your money
I used to go Hangzhou, China every year and always get new tea over there. With Covid situation, that hasn’t been possible for two years now… Considering getting this in US via online site with the price, it’s worth the money. Quality not bad considering this is 1rd grade leaves, certainly better than what you can get from American stores here. Shipping is also quick.

I’m letting this Acclimate to my Room, First, before I Open It Up to Brew and Taste.
This SAYS it’s a “Hangzhou Dragon Well Tea, Qiantang Production Area (the core locations for Dragon Well, Green Tea), (Ming Quian) Dragon Well, Green Tea, but until I actually Open, Brew, and Actually Taste Test it, Who Knows??? Because of the World Wide Famous Name, much Higher Prices can be (and ARE) Charged for it, Regardless of whether it is or NOT. In fact, FRAUD and MISLABEL have become so Common-Place, lately, that the Probability is Very High that this too is a FRAUDulently Labelled Tea. However, we shall see, after I Crack this Open, Brew it Up, Drink It, and THEN I can do an Honest Review of what Exactly I think about this Tea. So, until Then, “May Peace and Tea, be with you.” v/r MN

Great tea for daily consumption
I’ve had some bad experiences in the past with trying to buy a bulk of green tea to save money, you generally get what you pay for. In this case I was very happy to see that despite the fairly reasonable price, the quality is pretty good. I’m no tea connoisseur but I’ve tried my fair share of green teas, this one is a solid tea for daily consumption. I was able to get two steeps of about 8-10 oz water each with around 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of this tea, which is basically 2 fullish mugs of tea, about what I drink in a day.

Very unique flavor profile!
This EFOOFAN organic Longjing green tea is hand-picked. It’s an authentic Chinese Dragon Well loose leaf tea. It’s certainly a good quality tea, but I’m not sure that I would consider it to be of premium quality. The flavor is somewhat light and understated, fresh, but with an unfamiliar earthy undertone, which I found to be very unappealing. I really didn’t like the taste, it’s just not for me. Some people may find this green tea to be very enjoyable. To each his own, as they say.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend this green tea to everyone, only to those who are familiar with the very unique flavor profile of the Chinese Dragon Well variety, which seems to be somewhat of an acquired taste. I simply didn’t find the flavor of this green tea to be enjoyable enough for me to be able to justify paying the relatively high price, which is currently $12 per ounce! I recommend considering other options.

Expensive, Grassy-Tasting Green Tea from EFOOFAN!
I’m addicted to caffeine; I can’t live without it. Therefore, I drink a lot of coffee and tea. I love loose leaf green tea and was excited for an opportunity to review the EFOOFAN USDA Certified Organic Longjing Tea. I used my French Press to brew it. I discovered that this is a very grassy-flavored green tea that is rather weak in color and taste. I added honey and stevia for sweetening it. It would definitely not become my go-to tea for green tea. It arrived very well packaged; consumers don’t have to worry about it becoming damaged during S&H.
The round container is suitable for gift giving. On its side is a best before date of 01/06/2026, which is a very good date. There are not any directions for brewing the tea. I own an expensive electric tea kettle with temperature control. It is perfect for using with a French Press for brewing high-end tea. I didn’t feel that this tea was worth the current price of $69.00 for three ounces. I can’t afford that. Personally, I wouldn’t pay more than $20.00 for it. Overall, I cannot recommend the EFOOFAN USDA Certified Organic Longjing Tea to friends, relatives, and neighbors who enjoy drinking green tea.

Tastes better than expected.
EFOOFAN USDA Certified Organic Longjing Tea comes in a nice giftable container. If you follow the directions and brew it at temperature of 175 degrees for 2-3 minutes, you will get a lovely cup of tea.
